Class Description: The Alchemy of Books – Make Your Own!
All it takes is cloth and board, thread and paper – and a little glue. Make your own book using the easy long stitch. You’ll complete the journal of your choice in this simple four-hour class. Class kit includes cover boards and spine, waxed linen thread, paper, pattern, instructions and extra supplies. You’ll create a 6 signature, hard cover book, with exposed sewing. It will open flat for writing or painting.
You can find Judi Delgado on Facebook and at www.bodhisartva.typepad.com or email delgadojx@yahoo.com.

Inexpensive supplies for bookbinding can be found at the stores mentioned, under the brand name Lineco. The awl, bone folder, needles and different colors of book cloth are all this brand. Don’t buy the thread from them; you won’t be happy. I’m bringing a variety of beautiful colors of waxed linen thread for you to use.
