Listen to Your Heart with Kelly Kilmer

Class Description: You will start by deconstructing an old hardcover book and creating an embellished, textured, luscious and visually stimulating artist’s book. Using a combination of vintage and new, you will create fresh, one of a kind, completely you artist’s journal pages while learning new techniques and ideas. Working large and somewhat fast (though not too fast that you won’t be able to keep up!), we’ll cover a lot of ground in this four hour workshop.
Supply list: Scissors, small selection of favorite collage ephemera, bone folder, cork back metal ruler, roll of waxed paper, roll of paper towels, permanent black inkpad, container to hold water, 1" brushes to glue (I like chip or bristle brushes), a few of your favorite glue sticks.
We have Tyn’s banners hung around the store and now you can make your own. Perfect for Spring Patio make-over or a lovely something for your happy place/. For me, it’s my studio.
It’s A Banner Day with Tyn Atol Sunday, April 15th, 11:30am to 2:30pm
Class Description: This workshop is about fun! Create a banner for Spring, a birthday party, special event or just to brighten up a Tuesday afternoon. All materials are provided to get your creative juices flowing, but students are always invited to bring along bits and pieces, pictures and pretties to add to their creation. Remember, even if you don’t finish during class time, this is a project that can be added to over and over.
